Yoon Na-na, heading to the LPGA Tour, was selected as one of the rookies to pay attention to.

Golf Week in the United States introduced six rookies on the 9th (Korea Standard Time) under the title "6 Gorgeous Rookie to Watch on the LPGA Tour in 2025." 안전놀이터
Yoon In-na was also included.

Yoon is the winner of the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour last year. After being lifted from disciplinary action against Ogu Play, she won the title once, swept the top prize money award and the lowest par prize. Afterwards, she announced her entry into the LPGA tour, and passed the qualifying series in eighth place to secure seed status.

Golf Week said, "Yoon Na-na, ranking No. 1 in the KLPGA tour in 2024, has been listed in the top 5 10 times along with one victory. She was ranked only in the top 300 in the world a year ago, but is now in the top 30."

Notably, Yoon has also changed clubs before her LPGA tour challenge. She will take on a new challenge with TaylorMade instead of the Titleist. "I will use TaylorMade for drivers, wood and iron, and take some more time to think about putters and balls," Yoon said.

Along with Yuna, Japanese twin sisters Akie Iwai, Chisato Iwai, and Miyu Yamashita and Rio Takeda (Japan) were included in the group of six. The last one is Lindblad (Sweden), a former amateur player who passed the Epson Tour (division 2).

Yamashita passed the qualifying series at the top, and Iwai Chisato finished the qualifying series in a tie for fifth place.

Golf Week said, "Five rookies are ranked in the top 50 in the world. Yamashita is the world's highest ranking at 13th, and twins Akie and Chisato have won 13 times in the Japan Ladies Professional Golf Association (JLPGA) Tour," adding, "This year's rookie competition will be a slugfest."
